Someone asked me
“Is it a wise decision when
starting something new at this age?”
It took me a long time
to realized what I really want to do
while all of my friends already have their own stable jobs.
I used to blame myself a lot
and question
why I hadn’t discovered and started sooner.
But,
as I grew up,
I realized that difficult times
gave me a lot of wonderful memories with my best friends
and discovered more about myself.
My brother said to me
“Whatever decisions we make
when we don’t actually understand about
are wrong.”
Is it better
to begin what is truly important after failing a lot
than having much but still don’t know what to do in my life?
We are running our own race,
in our own time.
We are all in our time zone.
Someone discovered their passion early in their own lives
while someone took a lot of time.
Someone started their career
and got what they wanted soon
while someone started later.
Someone married at 18
while others married at 50.
Someone died at 40
while someone else died at 90.
Someone studied what he wanted at 18
while someone began even at 50.
Some look like ahead of me,
and some might seem behind me.
That’s not mean anyone’s slower than others.
They are in their time zone,
and so am I.
I’m not late.
I’m not early.
I’m already very much on time.
Be patient.
Everyone has their own turn.
Because good things take time, don’t they?
